September 17,2017: It is written on school boards that keep your surroundings clean, but outside the Government High School Batkoot Pahalgam and Government High School Amad Aishmuqam one can see heaps of garbage and polythene garbage. We urge the school administration to practice what they preach and also urge the Chief Education Officer CEO, Ghulam Rasool Shah Shb and Zonal Education Officer ZEO Aishmuqam Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Shah to urgently issue an advisory to schools to ensure actual sanitation, hygiene and cleanliness of their premises and surroundings, not just textbook prescriptions.
