October 07,2017: Whoever starts the fire in forests needs to be identified and held guilty by the forest department . Also local youth esp who were playing cricket and watching when the fire started, should have immediately informed the police and fire department and helped douse the fire. Afterall the forests are our own property, they are a source of both tourism and livelihood and we, each one of us, needs to be the first person to volunteer to save the green gold.
Heart touching news tears rolled down to see burning dense green forests of pahalgam forest compartments 37 L of world famous tourist destination from last 3 days ..this green wealth is going to be lost ,if not taken under control...
